I was laid-off by my employer one day before I was to end my maternity leave and return to work. I was the 2nd employee that I knew of who was laid-off under the same circumstances. Knowing there were no performance issues that would have dictated my being let go, I suspected pregnancy discrimination. Thinking that I may have a case, I decided to explore my legal options. Being in the office with them felt like being at home. The approach they took to my mediation was incredibly creative and outside-the-box.
