I was demoted after reporting to my employer’s human resources department my belief that my supervisor was violating company policy. Thinking I may have a “whistleblower retaliation” case, I contacted Bayer & Borlase based on a recommendation from friends of mine in the Bay area legal community. Throughout what was at times a tough, stressful process, Alan and Heather gave me all the confidence I needed to stay strong and remember that I was in the right. And more than that, they actually injected the experience with fun and humor I can’t imagine happening with a typical law firm. As it turned out, the day of my mediation played out exactly the way they said it would. Because of them, I was able to be calm and confident; that frame of mind proved to be helpful in achieving the goal I was looking for without having to resort to litigation. Bayer & Borlase not only met my expectations – they far exceeded them. I don’t think I would have gotten as good a result with any other firm.
